Lunch & Milk Programs

Hot Lunch

The Millgrove School Community Foundation is once again offering a hot lunch program for students. A portion of each meal is ordered from a local restaurant and any profit that is made is used to support parent council initiatives.

Please Note:

  • No late orders will be accepted.
  • Should your child be away from school, we are unable to provide a refund for an unclaimed hot lunch.
  • Kindergarten parents: Please check your calendar to ensure you only order lunch on days your child is at school.
  • If there is a class event (e.g. a field trip) scheduled on a hot lunch day after hot lunches have been ordered, your child's class will receive their lunch the day before.

Online Orders

Online order dates for 2019-2020 are as follows:
  • September 4-14
  • December 2-11
  • March 2-11
To place an order:
  1. Go to Hot Lunch registration website
  2. Select "Register" from the menu at the top right hand corner to sign up. You are required to register every year because students change classrooms.
  3. School access code: MGHL (all caps)
  4. Set up your user id and password (Same user id and password can be used for milk and hot lunch) 
  5. Once registered you are automatically logged into the website.
  6. Add your student(s) by selecting the Student link at the bottom of the page you are on.
  7. Follow the online instructions to order and pay. You can pay by credit card without creating a PayPal account. 

Cash Orders

For families unable to order online, we will be accepting orders and cash payment (exact change only, please) on the following dates:

  • September 6 & 11
  • December 6 & 11
  • March 6 & 11

Volunteers

If you are able to help with distributing hot lunches from approximately 11:45am-1pm on hot lunch days, please contact the Hot Lunch Coordinator and let her know your availability. We truly appreciate your help.

Milk Program

The milk program at Millgrove School is run by parent volunteers. We offer both white and chocolate milk every school day during lunch, including on hot lunch days, beginning in late September.

Milk coupons are sold in sheets of 10 for $10.00/sheet. Coupon sales are held online and in-person in September, December and March of each school year. Unused tickets may be transferred over for use in the next school year.

Volunteers

Volunteers are always welcome! Helping with the milk program is an easy way to get involved at the school and meet students, parents and teachers.
