School Council

Millgrove School Council works together to enhance student learning by promoting the well-being and effectiveness of the entire school community. School Council provides the Millgrove School Administration Team with parent perspectives, enabling decision-making that meets the needs of home and school.

Millgrove School Council is an integral part of our school community and supports cultural events, special projects and literacy initiatives.

School Council is an excellent way for parents to get involved in their child’s education through volunteer opportunities and learning about the current issues in education in order to provide feedback. Most importantly, School Council provides an opportunity for Millgrove School to continue building a strong home/school partnership for the success of students. In addition to parents and our principal, we often have speakers from our school division in attendance.

The School Council is an active member of the Alberta School Council Association. Through this membership, our School Council ensures that the voice of our school community is heard on a provincial level.

All parents are welcome to join us to learn more about the school and the important directions we are taking in meeting the learning needs of all students.
